Day 362 - 2010

It was so nice to have everyone home and to just relax today. We all played some Wii together - something we haven't done for a long time. I forget that there are other things to do with it than listen to Matt play Mario Cart!

Even the girls got into it!

Day 331 - 2010

Matt played in goal for the first time. He loved it!!! They did lose 4-2 (but there was a REALLY good player on the other team) and as we said, he LOVED it! Have we mentioned that he LOVED it? We are now accepting donations for goalie equipment.

Day 296 - 2010

Matt scored his first goal for the team today in ice hockey. He got to keep the puck - way to go bud!

Day 295 - 2010

Yep - more snow. The kids immediately got out the sleds but they did have a bit of trouble "getting going". It lasted until mid morning.

Day 290 - 2010

We all travelled to Toronto to watch Drew and Glenn run the 1/2 marathon. We missed their actual finish (we drove and then took the subway to get to the end) but got to see them in motion as they ran TO the start line! They finished very well - 1:43:08. Nicely done boys!

Day 262 - 2010

We all participated in the 30th anniversary of the Terry Fox Run. It was our 5th year.

Day 261 - 2010

Everyone showed up to watch Matt play his first Ice Hockey game. He was a little shaky at first but once he got his bearings he had a great time - go Matt!

Day 213 - 2010

Drew's cousins from New York came up for a visit and inspired a ride on the horses. Mitchell had his first ride (don't worry Drew was right there), Cierra got up and it was great to see Jan on again. Marlee opted to watch from the sidelines but did try her hand at some golf earlier on.

Day 158 - 2010

One of the days activities at Great Wolf Lodge was a rousing game of mini golf. I watched and nursed while everyone had a QUICK game!

Day 156 - 2010

Happy Birthday Theoren! We went to visit Sean, Sam and the kids for Theoren's birthday party today. Drew was again the primary parent for most of the day and had a great time on the trampoline. I wonder how long before we get one???

Day 129 - 2010

A little snow in the morning and sidewalk paint and hockey in the afternoon. Note to self: Tempera paint is not comparable to sidewalk paint. It lasts and lasts and lasts...

Day 110 - 2010

Kristy treated me to a pedicure! I think it has been a few years since I have had one done. What a treat. BTW - documenting A Week in the Life. More posted at forsuchatimeasthis...

Matt donned his goalie gear and took on the boys.

Day 99 - 2010

We walked for the first time to school since Mitchell was born to pick up the kids after school. I'm feeling really good but hoping not to push it. It was great to be out and about though!

Day 96 - 2010

It's amazing how a simple box can occupy so much time. Marlee picked this out from the grocery store a few days ago, painted it today and it became a great seat (after some blankets and pillows were added inside). Now if only storage were as easy!

Day 93 - 2010

We joined friends at the church for a road hockey game and then headed to Mac's for frosties.

Day 81 - 2010

Marlee is totally into TROUBLE - when she can't get one of us to play she'll even play a few people all at once. She seems to think she gets more 6's when she uses her feet. I'm not sure if that is a proven fact though.

Day 71 - 2010

Marlee rode a two-wheeler all by herself today!

Day 64 - 2010

The game Trouble was a huge hit in our down time and when they were ready to hit the slopes? They had an amazing time. More details will be here.

Day 30 - 2010

We met early for small group and the kids took advantage of the ice rink near our friend's house. Marlee didn't last that long but Matt enjoyed playing some hockey (that is until the other side was winning -we are still working on teammanship obviously). As for us moms, we got to keep warm in the house.
