Day 343 - 2010

The snow has been adding a new dimension to travel these days. Today I decided to try the wrap since Mitchell is feeling a little snug in the sling over my winter coat. He seemed happy enough but he hates having a blanket over himself. Thank goodness it wasn't windy.

I got started on some "Gifts in a jar" for Christmas gifts. I got a great new recipe for oatmeal cookies at MOPS. Yum yum!

Day 342 - 2010

We were hit with another huge dumping of snow so the kids had a blast on the snow hill at school.

This one particular stretch on the way home is probably the last to get cleared. It makes for a fun walk - especially with an infant! I had to go on the road.

Day 295 - 2010

Yep - more snow. The kids immediately got out the sleds but they did have a bit of trouble "getting going". It lasted until mid morning.

Day 294 - 2010

Yep - that's our first bit of snow. More to come tomorrow I hear!

Day 259 - 2010

Mitchell loves playing in the sand. We just have to watch that his older sister doesn't put it close enough for him to eat it! It is so nice to have some warm days to enjoy it again!

We had a VERY wet walk home from school. Surprisingly all the kids loved it and not everyone used the umbrellas I brought. I'm just glad it was warm.

Day 129 - 2010

A little snow in the morning and sidewalk paint and hockey in the afternoon. Note to self: Tempera paint is not comparable to sidewalk paint. It lasts and lasts and lasts...

Day 75 - 2010

Another beautiful day of teen temperatures! We couldn't ask for a better March break. We've had picnic lunches, and most of the day outside. Awesome!

Day 74 - 2010

Eager to be rid of the last bit of snow, the boys took to chopping it off the lawn. With temperatures like today (17 degrees) it won't last long anyway!

We've finally got enough snow for the kids to be tobogganing on the front lawn again. They are so excited especially since we have new sleds to accommodate everyone!

I LOVE that I get to go on some of the kids field trips. We had so much fun with Marlee's class at the pumpkin patch today! A little muddy but no rain. A perfect day.

We finished up the last of the backyard fall cleanup - including closing up the pool. We had 2 little helpers that were able to lift the cover with us - amazing how much easier it was!
