Day 15 - 2010

One of Cierra's regular chores is to empty the dishwasher. Oh and she is currently loving the yellow Adidas hoody she picked out for herself for Christmas.

Day 14 - 2010

Matt has been taking 1:3 skating lessons with friends (1 instructor:3 kids). He has become a lot more confident and loves going FAST! I wish we'd seen if Marlee could have taken part too. They have some really good drills - using hoola hoops, foam octagon cubes, bean bags and pylons. I'm sure we could have done it on our own but the consistency of having to come to a lesson is needed at our end.

Day 13 - 2010

Marlee is going through a wonderful phase of being huggy and a mommy's girl. I have to say couldn't enjoy it more.

Day 12 - 2010

Matt developed a fever over night and has become a little obsessed with checking it. We kept him home from school which seemed a little silly because he certainly acted okay.

It did give him the ability to put together his Indiana Jones set. Do you think it may have been a ploy?

Day 11 - 2010

To say that Matt was THRILLED to have his Indiana Jones Lego set arrive in the mail is an understatement. He used his birthday money (a toonie party described here) to purchase the set online and then pestered every day to know when it would get here. Drew very patiently made a map and showed him how the package was tracked all the way here. It couldn't happen fast enough.

Day 10 - 2010

Matt got a game set for Christmas and has been back into the swing of checkers.

Day 9 -2010

Part of the aftermath of 16 kids at small group. It was a wild one - part of the reason we are now multiplying for 3 of the 4 weeks each month.

Day 8 - 2010

28 weeks or 7 months. Moving right along!

Day 7 - 2010

Sometimes I wonder about these kids. Where they get their theatrics from I don't know - well yes I do. Their aunt and their father. Here they were dancing and showing off their riiiibbbs.

Back to school, back to friends and back to snow play. They have missed this hill!

Day 5 - 2010

We finally got most of the Christmas decorations put away (well boxed up) - we just have the tree to go!

Day 4 - 2010

Marlee is beginning to actually play some Wii herself. It's quite comical to watch the hips go - she definitely has more rhythm then me!

Day 3 - 2010

The Puffle Craze - Matt purchased some puffles with his birthday money, spurred on by his obsession with the Club Penguin website.

Day 2 -2010

All flattery aside, it was wonderful to be able to sleep in. I'm glad the kids are at a stage where they are fairly self-sufficient. This is going to change in the household soon.

We spent New Year's Day with Aunt Ya-Ya - taking in some movies, some stories and chillaxin!
