The washing machine is here! The washing machine is here! After the washing machine broke (making an extremely loud rumbling inside) and we had a repair person deem it more expensive to fix then to replace and after looking at 6 or 7 stores looking at new and used models, we settled on spending the least amount of money on a new one that was exactly the same as our old model. 2 weeks without a washing machine is a long time (thanks mom for letting us use yours!)
It's amazing how quickly the laundry seems to pile up when you STILL don't have a washing machine.
I love days when the kids are actually interested in playing games together rather then requesting to watch tv all the time (not that they get to!)
We got enough hail today for collecting and shovelling and a whole lot of entertainment.
The picnic theme continues. This time they have moved to the dirty garage floor, with the chalk drawings and the pylons. What will they think of next?
