Day 281 - 2010

Drew, Mitchell, mom and dad and I went to Queensway Cathedral to see the Hillsong Youth United and the David Crowder Band for dad's birthday. I have to say that we all enjoyed it but were not very familiar with either band's music and it wasn't very "singable" unless you knew them. We knew 3 out of all of the songs sung. None-the-less it was very enjoyable, we have some new music to upload and the restaurant afterwards was REALLY good. Mitchell did amazing, especially for not sleeping. He wasn't too sure about his headphones at first but he did get used to them.

Day 232 - 2010

Cierra loves nothing more then rocking it out on the beach.

Day 133 - 2010

Rock on sista! Her current favourites are Hannah Montana, Axel F, Strawberry Shortcake and Sleeping Beauty. Here she had to go with the whole HM look. I think she does it well don't you?

Day 119 - 2010

The line up to see Smitty went around the whole building. Dad and Drew waited in line while I fed Mitchell with mom. Mom and Dad treated Drew and I for Drew's upcoming birthday. It reminded me of all the days we lined up for concerts while mentoring the youth. We saw some great concerts then!

Day 26 - 2010

Marlee was playing with the music and all of sudden she disappeared and returned with a new get-up on - complete with a hat I can never get her to wear but I think is so adorable. I think she thinks it goes with the rock star persona.

Day 343 - Wednesday, December 9, 2009

Matthew did his last performance of The Best Christmas Present Ever - and did an awesome job. He did learn some things from the previous 2 performances such as keeping his nose clean, being gentle with his partner and generally how to have fun.

Day 297 - Saturday, October 24, 2009

Matt called us down early this morning for "Mini Church". He had the vacuum cleaner set up as a microphone, the coffee table over as a piano and chairs for us the audience. He then mastered the ipod and chose "Blessed Be Your Name", "The River Is Rising", "Entertaining Angels" and "Step Up" as songs for us to sing together while he "played" the piano. It was really quite neat.

Marlee has discovered the beauty of the ipod at her brother's ball hockey games.

The U2 concert rocked - seriously amazing, other then the man in front of us smoking up - I'd somehow forgotten it wouldn't quite be like the MW Smith concert I'd last seen. More info to come here.

Day 147 - Wednesday, May 27, 2009

We joined Lindsay and Cierra at WEB idol tonight where Cierra performed a great version of a Hannah Montana song. She has such better rhythm then me - it's fun to watch. The kids really enjoyed watching all of the different performances - and watching Cierra hang out with her peers.

We saw Smitty in concert - bringing back memories of the Queensway, ATF and KB. He does an amazing job of bringing us to worship!

Day 68 - Monday, March 9, 2009

Marlee had a blast listening to Hannah Montana all by herself. I LOVE these earphones - I need to remember to use them for the laptop. And I have to say, doesn't she look cute?
