Day 258 - 2010

One of the streets on the way to school is lined with oak trees. Only a few of them have acorns and the kids are constantly racing to try and find ones that have fallen - especially those with their caps on. I won't let them pick them and they are not impressed.

I love the view of the approaching sunset through the trees.

Fresh strawberries straight from the patch. There is nothing better!

Day 159 - 2010

We finished a fun morning at GWL, had Wendy's for lunch and then got a gorgeous view of Niagara Falls. The kids were suitably impressed. I can't beleive how much more developed it is since I last saw it [15 years ago].

We have received so many nice words of sympathy for Grandma and Grandpa as well as this lovely bouquet from Drew's co-worker. I love fresh flowers!

We were surprised to find a huge pile of ants across the sidewalk in the front yard. We were tempted to get some to put in our ant farm but on closer observation we thought they were too small.
