Day 345 - 2010

Mitchell has his first infection and is on antibiotics. We think he may have scratched the inside of his mouth somehow. He is totally unaffected by it other then the fact that the antibiotics taste DISGUSTING (and trust me I know - I tried them - YUCK!!!) and he needs to be strong-armed to have them. This is apparently my job since I have the best success rate. Thanks Drew!

Day 173 - 2010

Matt had a major wipeout in the parking lot today. He did amazingly well and just wanted a bandage and a photo to remember the event.

Day 37 - 2010

Something or someone that makes you smile.

I'd have to say it's the belly right now. I wish there was a way to capture the feeling of the kicking, and the fluttering - maybe not the rib pushing but you know what I mean. I still have feelings of insecurity - is it really happening? And I can only trust that everything happens for a purpose. I can't wait for this new life to be a part of our lives and I am excited to see what is in store.

Day 27 - 2010

Doctor visit day at 30 weeks. All is going well - weight gain good, the baby is measuring on the big side. A c-section date has been booked for March 22.

Day 12 - 2010

Matt developed a fever over night and has become a little obsessed with checking it. We kept him home from school which seemed a little silly because he certainly acted okay.

It did give him the ability to put together his Indiana Jones set. Do you think it may have been a ploy?

Day 334 - Monday, November 30, 2009

Drew's stitches on his belly - healing nicely but still grossing everyone out. He had to have another few moles removed and will continue to do so.

Day 329 - Wednesday, November 25, 2009

The view is definitely changing.

Day 306 - Monday, November 2, 2009

The news and internet has so much information about the swine flu or rather H1N1. I just don't know what to believe and am very confused...

Day 294 - Wednesday, October 21, 2009

This little sweetie pie did A-MA-ZING today! We went to the hopsital for 7am (no food or water since midnight - well 8pm really), got prepped and had surgery for her strabizmus shortly after 8am. I was called in to see her around 10:30am where I found a very sleepy, sad, and upset little girl with a very "stingy" right eye. She was not a happy camper and I don't blame her. Alternating between trying to sing to her, let her listen to the ipod, snuggle (on a regular chair), give her juice (which she didn't want), give her popsicles (which she did want), I kept her soothed as much as possible. It was a drastically different experince from when she was 10 months old and couldn't tell us much. But she really was a trooper. Here we are at home, resting with a cold compress and examining her "third nipple" as we called it. Poor kid. Here's to a quick recovery!

Day 194 - Monday, July 13, 2009

The kids were thrilled to use the new playroom at the dentist office while Cierra was getting her teeth done.

Day 153 - Tuesday, June 2, 2009

Another tooth is on its way out! (#4 - naturally that is)

Day 115 - Saturday, April 25, 2009

Matt has been battling a cough and fever for the last few nights. A fever at night, gone all day. He is now on antibiotics. Note the trackpants - one of 4 pairs of pants he will currently wear. He blew the knee out on these a few weeks back and I finally got to sew them up this week when I forgot to do the load of laundry.

Day 114 - Friday, April 24, 2009

3 for 1 deal! I went to the doctor to have the mole on my left 5th toe and left missing it, along with the mole on the inner side as well as one on the bottom of my right 2nd toe. I was a tad nervous about this one as it was my toe - not very much skin there! Surprisingly it was not as bad as I thought!
