Marlee and Drew put up the fall decor on the front porch a few days ago. Good job guys! We've gotten a lot of compliments on our "funky" pumpkins - just odd ones from the local grocery store but I liked them.

Day 301 - 2010

Marlee and her classmates put on a show for the parents on their study of Native Canadians...

...and we finally got the pool covered and officially closed up today. Thanks Papa Don!

Day 291 - 2010

Note to self (well Drew really): animals like fat and grease so leaving the turkey pot outside overnight is not really a good idea.

Day 284 - 2010

Drew and the kids went with Melissa and Jan for their annual trip to Port Dover - can you believe they went swimming on Thanksgiving weekend? While they were away I worked outside getting fall clean-up under way.

Day 278 - 2010

So we are going on week 4 or 5 now with the light switch not working right...

(Yes, its a complicated 3-way switch that is affecting the bathroom and the eat-in area. Only one can be on at one time, but it's been a month already!)

Out with the old and in with the new. Everything seems to be going at once!

Note to self: rinse clean up cloths that have spit up in them if you are not going to wash them soon. A week later is breath taking.

Today's challenge is to get caught up on all our laundry - us away from the weekend and Cierra away for 2 weeks.

Using our new solar powered clothes dryer. Finally. We have had it for 2 years now and never used it.

Hey - the grass got cut! Amazing what a difference that can make!

Post garden - 1 bed down another to go. Umm the grass STILL needs work....

We got 5 baskets of clothes from Marlee's room to get rid of. She is rather proud of herself. I can't believe we had that much.

I am slowly working on the garden - yes it is June 10th, a little late but hopefully some produce will still grow. That is if I can get all the weeds and grass out.

Umm, our backyard lawn needs some work. Drew - can you work on that?

Our neighbours had their baby - a girl named Josie - and their lawn was decorated with the big stork, flamingos and other caricatures. I'm sorry I missed the photo op!

Day 82 - 2010

While we were eating lunch today we heard a strange crash. No, it turns out it wasn't the result of Drew's handiwork but I believe a faulty clasp on the wire holder. Amazingly the glass didn't break - I hope IKEA will give me a new frame!
