Day 326 - 2010

She's got the clothes.
And she knows how to use them!

I managed to catch a 'pose' today as we were waiting for the kids at school. I think we are going to have a fun time when this girl is a teenager - she already has a fashion sense all her own. I love it!

It was Terry Fox Day at school so we all wore our shirts to support the event. Mitchell was not that cooperative for the photo as you can see. Thanks again Adidas for the shirts!

Day 272 - 2010

Our 'bubs" on our way to school. A day doesn't go by that Mitchell doesn't get at least 3 or 4 "Awww"; or "Look at that hat!"; or "What a cute baby!". We agree with all of the above.

Day 268 - 2010

We picked out Marlee's glasses today. There were so many to choose from - it's amazing how far we've come in style and choice. She is really happy with them and that is what counts. We should be able to pick them up in about a week.

Mitchell got a new hat from Aunt Sarah. Adorable!

Day 247 - 2010

A part of me is sad that these clothes are all going - a sign of Marlee growing up. On the other hand? Valuable real estate is being gained in our basement and her room (although it is quickly being taken over by Mitchell's 1st year clothing!)

Day 165 - 2010

I'm getting some good use out of this "Little Star" sling. It took some getting used to but now Mitchell is actually preferring to walk to school in this rather then the stroller. It also helps that I have two from two different friends.

Day 162 - 2010

We got 5 baskets of clothes from Marlee's room to get rid of. She is rather proud of herself. I can't believe we had that much.

Day 100 - 2010

Wow Day 100 already!

I snuck this one of Drew getting ready for his run. The kids did NOT think he should run with just the red shirt (or the shorts underneath but that wouldn't have been polite to show). He started running in November and is planning to run a 1/2 marathon at the end of May.

Day 46 - 2010

My comfy...

Slippers. I have to be either in bare feet or slippers. I don't know what it is but that's it. I like these type of slippers which are more like slip on shoes with the rubber soles. That way I can go out on the front step or into the garage and not be bothered by dampness. I wish I could encourage the kids more to like indoor shoes or slippers but I haven't been successful at this point.

Day 40 - 2010

Family shoes

We've been trying to get into the habit of taking indoor shoes with us to more places. So far this includes church, my parents house and friends places. I personally love my slippers but also just find my feet get hot when I wear my boots all morning at church. If we keep them all in a bag they are just ready to go. I like that.

Day 15 - 2010

One of Cierra's regular chores is to empty the dishwasher. Oh and she is currently loving the yellow Adidas hoody she picked out for herself for Christmas.

Drew was so happy that Matt finally consented to wear this rugby shirt. He bought it ages ago but Matt would never wear it. I think it made his day.

I see Marlee like this and I just have to laugh. I wore knee high nylons to church on Sunday (under my boots) and Marlee wanted to wear some too. Why not? She also chose to wear them today. What a girl. They go well with the glasses.

Day 298 - Sunday, October 25, 2009

Not the best photo but in it you can glimpse the look of my "pyjamas" as Pastor B liked to call them. I again participated as a "flagger" (is that a word?) in the closing ceremonies of the mission conference going on this month at church. And because our part was at the very end without a time to step out, I got to wear it all service. Definitely not my comfort zone.
